**Durbin is now a leading proponent against Social Security reform.....Why then but not now? --> Is (D)'s fixing Social Security = Good, and (R)'s = Bad?
He was plenty concerned while Clinton was in office, but not now.........The Minority Whip wouldn't be putting politics ahead of the national-good would he? --> Of course he would. He's a Democrat!!!
