The People Are Speaking - Are They Being Heard?
For the sixth contest in a row, Bernie Sanders defeated 'The Queen'...And Ted Cruz defeated Donald Trump and John Kasich.
The 'front runners' can't get enough traction to knock out their challengers for one reason - one reason being expressed by millions of voting Americans...The real choice the people want isn't on any ballots!
The American people are sick of the status quo. They don't want any traditional Democrats - which is why millions are shying away from Clinton and tilting toward a Socialist windbag like Bernie...They also don't want any traditional Republicans - which is why millions turned away from Scott Walker, Marco Rubio, Rick Perry, etc., and are looking at a guy who attacked his own party in the Senate (Cruz) and a guy who is proving to be a carny-barker (Trump.)
I have no idea what is going to happen with the Republicans, because none of the three remaining candidates will show up at the convention with the requisite amount of delegates to claim the nomination outright...A contested convention is all but assured, and is going to be crazy. It will be crazy not because it is illegitimate - if anything, it is a return to the way things were settled for most of American history. But the American people aren't going to understand this, because far too many think we live in a pure democracy - we don't! As a result, the ignorance of the masses will result in great dissatisfaction no matter what happens at the convention.
I still see no way 'The Queen' loses. The fix is in, and her SuperDelegate advantage will carry her to the nomination...Who knows how the Bernie supporters will react? They seem pretty unhinged to me and I have a feeling it's gonna be very messy.
The best, however, are the polls. Everyone spews off about the polls, but the polls are out of touch with the reality of the contested elections. In the polls:
- Bernie beats Hillary, yet she's quite a bit ahead of him in the delegate count.
- John Kasich beats Hillary, yet he gets his ass kicked in every Republican election not named Ohio.
- Donald Trump and Ted Cruz can't beat Hillary, even though Republican elections so far have routinely broken all the records - due to Trump and Cruz being on the ballots.
In other words, the polls don't match what is happening when people actually vote. There are many reasons for this, but I think the best explanation is this: Normal people vote! Jokers and losers take polls!
That said, I still have no idea what's gonna happen in November, but I have no doubt whoever is the next President of the U.S. is in for a rough road - for many reasons...The world is unstable, our economy is a mess and due for another recession, and most important of all the people are pissed - they don't believe our leaders (in either party) are legitimate, and there is going to be hell to pay for whoever is lucky enough to win the prize.
We are entering a period many of you lived through; though most didn't...We are entering another 1968 period! It wasn't pretty then, and it won't be pretty in 2016.
THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WILL SPEAK THROUGH THEIR VOTES, BUT IT'S UNLIKELY THEIR WORDS WILL BE HEARD OR UNDERSTOOD BY THOSE THEY ARE VOTING FOR - WHO KNOWS WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN THAT REALITY OCCURS!
