**Ford, GM and Chrysler are vital American companies due to their national defense manufacturing (and future possibilities), and the government should do much to make sure they are able to stay in businsess........But in no way is it the government's responsibility to make sure the very union workers who are breaking these companies are kept happy.
This quote is not only ignorant, it is scary. Scary because it's unknown what Democrats will do on this matter if they gain control of the presidency and congress........Needless to say there is going to be a massive payoff to the unions, and this payoff will undoubtedly be passed off on the backs of Average Joe/Jane taxpayer.
But at least the Democrats will originially sell it as being paid by the super wealthy, which will make us all feel good before the fleecing begins.**

The Dems ALWAYS say they are going soak the rich....then their tax plans always land squarely on the middle class. It has been proven again and again, you cannot over tax the rich without hurting the middle class. They will NEVER admit is, but Reagan's 'trickle down' economics worked and worked well!! Tax BREAKs for the rich work their way down to the lower classes much better than the taxes squeezed out of the rich!! Free Market, baby!! It works if govt would keep its stupid hands off!!

What's really amazing is these fools are going to walk themselves right into a recession.
I'm assuming they will likely win the presidency and keep Congress.....Not my favorite thought, but at least a 50/50 possibility.
We are way overdue for a recession, and are alos overdue to be hit again by our Islamist pals.
If the Dems get control they will increase taxes (which will slow the economy) and also open the door to terrorism on the homefront by being unwilling to fight them on their turf (which will also slow the economy).........If both happen at the same time there's little doubt the Dems will have led us down this path, which is predictable.
And sickening.
