**This is one view; the Liberal view........The Conservative view would say just the opposite; that honest, decent Americans need more guns to protect their children from the scum of the Earth who prey on their children. If criminals knew more people had guns, and the willingness to use them, they may not be as willing to do the crimes they do.
Oh, and if we'd actually keep criminals in prison, or execute those who commit the worst crimes, we'd also have less of these types of crimes.......I'm sure this makes me a radical Rightwinger, though.**
