Robert Redford (Hollywood Idiot)
"It's the ability to maintain the importance of dissent in a democratic system which right now is under threat with the attitude of this administration. I think many voices are being shut down or accused of being unpatriotic if they want to express another point of view. That's very unhealthy and very dangerous. If we take that policy into the world, there will be the same victims and the same consequences."
**Who is telling Redford he doesn't have the right to say whatever he wants? It seems to me that he, and his Hollywood pals, are constantly talking out.............But we don't have to like what we here, and we surely don't have to support their profession.
Keep talking Robby, please keep talking.........It's jackasses like you who are big as day on American TV, and the majority of Americans don't like what they hear.**

Obviously, you are misunderstanding what Redford is saying. This administration has started to define those that have a different opinion, or feel the government is wrong about certain issues. Bush is quoted after 9/11 as saying, "If you aren't with us, you are with the terrorists." This is a dangerous statement, and is basically saying, that if you don't agree with our government than you are a terrorist. His quote makes the statement that we are now defined as unpatriotic instead of being a true American patriot for speaking our minds freely.
Redford is right on. It is not only our right, but our responsibility as Americans to question our government leaders.
